Custom text not showing was created by AlexM
Hello,

The "custom text" for Submit button is not showing up in the front end, whether it is placed above or below label/input. However, custom text does work with all other fields.

I am using
Form Layout: Uikit2
Sublayout: Stacked

Jooma 3.9.19
Visforms: 3.13.12 with subscription

It seems that custom text is not working with submit button if using Uikit2 layout only. It shows up with default and Bootstrap layouts.

Do you have a fix to this?

Thank you!

Hi,

adding a custom text to a button (submit, reset, image), is a feature which I'm in the process of removing. Therefore displaying the text was not implemented with the newer layouts (bootstrap 4 and uikit). I'm sorry, that you can still see the field option, which is confusing. I have to clean this up.

Displaying a custom text with the buttons is very prone to braking the layout of the form section, where the buttons are displayed and looks bad almost every time. There is not good generic solution to this problem.

Please use a field of type fieldsep, add your custom text there and position it at the end of the field list.
If you use the summary page feature, you can use the custom text options for the summary page to place your text.

Regards,
Aicha
