You can create any listbox field you like with Visforms and you can set for any field if it should only be displayed if one value from a list of specific option(s) is selected. Thus you can create dependencies over more than one level
(Field B is only displayed if value x from field A is selected. Field C is only displayed if value y from field B is selected....)
There are no predefined Dropdowns (Country, ...) you have to create the lists yourself.

Aicha

Tried to create a State City Conditional Drop Down.
Added a field State with three options A B C (Select).
Then created another field City (Select). Added 1 2 3 4 5 67 8 . The conditional Field entered is A. WHat is happening is that when I select A, then all the entries of City show up.

I want that when someone selects A, then the cities 1 2 and 3 show up. When B is selected , then 4 5 6 show up.

How do I add the options in City Field so that when some one selects A from State Field, then the corresponding cities show up.

Hi

then you have to add different field for City 1, 2 ,3 and City 4,5,6 and make the field for the cities 1, 2,3 conditional to country selection A and the field for the cities 3,5,6 conditional for the country b.

Aicha

Thanks. Created one.
One more query. Can we link the fields to SObi Pro (directory component) fields.

The client wants that when the user selects a particular state, then the listing from Sobi field shows up.
It is for admission to its schools.
For eg. Sobi has a listing: State A, City: x Locality : 1
So the form field takes data from Sobi for all these. Any new centre added in Sobi, gets added to the drop down by default. (the client can pay for this development)

Hi,

sorry but automatic population of dropdowns (from database) is not a feature of Visforms.
