There is a separate Documentation for Visforms for Joomla 4 and for Visforms for Joomla 5 and 6!
Visforms 4.3.x is not compatible with Joomla 5 and the installation cannot start on Joomla 5.
In the next Visforms release 4.4.0, Joomla 5 compatibility will possibly be included.
In the next Visforms version 5.0.0, Joomla 5 compatibility will certainly be included.
Both upcoming versions are in work (as of October 2023), a release date has not yet been set.
