upgrade error

Dear Aicha,

Today I moved to Visform 3.4.3 on Joomla 3.4.1.
After this my forms did not works. I reopen the forms, reopen the fileds and save them. Without any changes, just resave.
After this I get "0 - Select must have at least one option." error.
This is 404 error so the whole page is blocked what displaying the form.

After some investigation I realised no problem with Joomla, this is a Visform component error. So I reopen the fields what's have Select elements, and I see there is no options. Somehow all of options are deleted. I recreated all options for all Select elements and the blocked page works again.

But not sending form data. As admin I get an e-mail but no data, only attached file, date and time and IP.
Recipient mail also not work -- not sending anything.

Can you help me to solve this problem?

I'm really sorry for your trouble.

Could you please send me the visforms_update.php from the logs folder of you Joomla! installation (to contact@vi-solutions.de)?

Did you create a template override of Visforms in your template's html folder? Overrides created for older Versions (lower than 3.4.0) of Visforms will not work properly with Visforms 3.4.3

You could try to turn the system debug on in the global configuration and change the error report level to developer in the global configuration. Maybe you can get an error message than, which helps us to understand what's going wrong.

Yesterday I restored my site using backup so I can not give you anything. But it is an interesting error and you should see. I'll recreate it.
About template override: after update I turned off so it is not affected.

thanks so much for going through the work of reprocuding the error for me once again and for trying to get the visforms_update.php
I hope this log, this will show us, why the select options were removed during the update and if there were any further problems during update.

How did you turn off the template override? I just ask because I know of at least one person who had the same problem with the mails (no data) and this was due to an override which was based on older Visforms view files.

Maybe you could recreate the not working update in a subfolder, so that we can investigate it further without interrupting your website. You could send me the link to my contact mail ....

My English is not too good thats why I said turned off. I just make "_mod_visforms".
About the recreated error I'll contact you late night or tomorrow.

ok, you renamed the folder. That will turn it the override off.
