Do not store ip address with the user inputs
This feature is part of the Visforms Subscription and not available in the free Visforms version. It was added to the Visforms Subscription release 3.2.1.
You can store the user inputs, which were submitted with the form, in the data base. Visforms will store some additional information with each record set of stored user inputs, like date and time, when the form was submitted and the ip address from which the form was submitted.
As the ip address might be considered as personal information (and therefore be subject to european privacy law) and as you might not need that information at all, the Visforms Subscription comes with an additional form option, that allows you to exclude the ip address from being stored with the stored user inputs. You will find this option in the form configuration tab "Result", just beneath the option "Save Result" with which you trigger, whether or not the user inputs are stored in the data base.
If you set the option "Exclude Ip Address" to "yes" the respective data base field will be left empty.
