How to check and test the list of current users

I want to thank you very much about this good plugin.

I have a very serious question:

I have in my site about 3500 users. And I have installed the plugin (spambotcheck) after this number of users. And I'm very sure, that I have in my user list so many spam registered users. How can I check the list of users (3500 registered users) and pure it from spam??

How can I found the spam registered users ?? I have checked the list manually before, and I found many spam users.

Please I need help !!

I'm sorry but the plugin is only for protection not for tidying up.

I don't know exactly why you want (nned) to delete spam user from your user list. Even if you have spam user in your user list, using the plugin, they will not be able to login on your website and your site is secured.

But if you really have to find the spammer on your list, I think you have to do this manually.
You can gain some furter information from the plugin. If you enable the parameter "log spammer to db" you may retrieve information about users who are allready in your user list and who are prevented from login for the action (login/registration) is also monitored in the databasetable. But you have to delete those users manually in the user list and you would only find those spammers who try to login on your webside.

If you need to find all spam user in your lsit, you have to check the users on your list manually, for example on the website of stopforumspam.com

I did it before manually using stopforumspam.com.It is very good site. But this operation take more time and it is very trying.

But are sure, that those registered spammer in users list can not login in m site ?

You just have to enable the plugin parameter "event to monitor" = Registration and login
and use the normal Joomla! Login.
