Other format of the date field

Hello,

Currently the date field gives me three formats on how the date has to be entered, but the one I want is not available (DD-MM-YYYY). Is there a way to add this option?

Adding a new date format in Visforms is unfortunately not a trivial matter at the moment.
Validation, calculations with date fields, and the search functions still need to be expanded accordingly.

We think your point is important, though.
There are also other culture-specific date formats.

I have therefore created a development issue for this in the wish list:

When we release the new feature, you will be explicitly informed about the release in this topic.
