Extra option: Choose a value

Dear Aicha,

Since I'm using 3.2.2 version -- what works well for me -- every Select element on every form get an extra option:
<option value="">Choose a value</option> But only on front end.

When I edit this field, I don't see this option so I can not remove it.
In the options list I have a default option.

Do you have any idea how to remove this extra option?

actually the extra option should only be displayed in some cases and is edit by the Visforms code.
I think, that during the vast code changes I made for the Visforms 3.2.x I somehow messed up the if-Statement, that creates this extra option.

As I have already found (be informed about) another bug I will release another Version (3.2.3) soon which will cover this problem too.
(I think within this week).

Hi Gabor,

just released Visforms 3.2.3 which should fix the problem.
The additional option is now only displayed when it is necessary (as was in the former releases of Visforms).

You have to download Visforms 3.2.3 manually from the download section of this website.

The <option value="">Choose a value</option> situation came up again.

My setup is:
- fresh installation of Joomla 3.6.2
- Visforms Version 3.7.7

Can you hide it please?

Hi,

as far as I know the additional options works fine and is only displayed, when its necessary to make sure, that selecting, unselecting options work properly for the user.

Visforms 3.7 is out as a stable version for month and nobody ever mentioned such a problem.
Without further information about all configuration settings of the select a cannot judge your problem further.
