No Confirmation E-mail

We have around 10 forms but I believe since upgrading to the latest versions two new forms do not send confirmation e-mails back to the user when they submit.

I have checked my two new forms with an existing one that works and can see no obvious differences.

The server generates a notification e-mail to the admin but not back to the user.

Can you suggest what I might need to check as I'm at a loss as to why they don't work.

Do you have a field of type email in your form?
Is the option mail receipt enabled in the form configuration? And are all mail options set properly there?
Have you read the documentation www.vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/vi...e-mail-configuration and followed the instructions. There is a section about trouble shooting at the end.

I have an older form that is working and have compared the setup of the form.

We are not using a field type of e-mail.

Hi, visForms is used by thousands of users an I have not heard of problems with sending mails after the last update. So this is not a bug.
Without a field of type E-mail in the form, no user mails can/will be send, because visForms uses this field type to find the email address where the user mail is send to. If the field is not required and the user leaves it empty, no user mail is send, either.

You are of course right . I did not have an e-mail field in place.
