There are lots of new features in Visforms
Since the last "Annoucement" many things have changed with Visforms. In March and April Visforms 3.7.x was developed and has become the stable Visforms version with Visforms 3.7.4. Also in April Visforms 3.8.x, the current beta release, has started its live.
Both releases come with lots of highly sought after new feature.
You can now import listbox options from a CSV file and the "Unique Values Only"-validation has a much better implementation for fields of type select, radio and checkbox group because options, already used, are disabled in the form, now.
There are new form and field configuration options which allow you to decide which user inputs are added to mail, even more individually than this has been possible already. And you can add user inputs as Url parameters to a redirect Url.
All features listed above are part of the free Visforms core.
Further on we have developed a new paid extension for Visforms - Multi Page Forms.
New features have been added to the Visforms extension Edit Data in Frontend. It is now possible to replace uploaded files in frontend and to publish/unpublish record sets in frontend as well as to set a flag "edit only field" in the field configuration, which will hide this field in the form view. "Edit only" fields will only be visible in the frontend edit views.
With regard to all frontend data views it is now possible to add search tools to these views. This feature is included in all Visforms data view extensions (edit data in frontend and content plugin data view) without any further action (well maybe you have to update to the latest version first and read the documenation). For use with the data views created with the Visforms core, there is a paid extension that comes with the Visforms Search Tools.
You can check all new Visforms feature in the Visforms Release history.
