The aim of this demo form is to show you an example of the field type calculation, which is part of the Visforms Subscription.
Fields of type calculation enables you to create formulas, which can use user inputs. Thus it is possible to calculate the result depending on what inputs a user has made.
This is a highly sought after feature.
In the demo form a user can order apples. The user chooses the amount of apples which they want to buy from a dropdown list. If a user buys 10 kilogramms of apples or more, there will be a discount of 2.5%. Further on the form will calculate a tax of 7% and will display the total.
The calculated results can be stored in the database (just as the value of any other field type) and can be used in the result mails.
