I have setup a form and everything is working correctly except the submit button at the bottom. I read in the documentation that there is most likely a JavaScript issue, but not necessarily. Everything else works on the site, and I have not seen any issues. Can you help me with a small push in the right direction for what you might see.

The form can be found at:

iauctionco.com/equipment-info-enquiry

Thanks,
Brandon

Hi,

when you look with the browser console into the HTML source of the form, there should be a HTML-Script tag just inside the div with id visformscontainer (above the HTML form element and below the h2 "Equipment Information Enquiry"). This script tag contains all javascript which is necessary to "instanciate" the form and it is missing in your source code.

There are two options which come immediately into my mind which could lead to this "result".
It could be a plugin or a setting in your template that actively remove script tags or such a thing.
It could be the result of a out of date Visforms override in your template

Regards,
Aicha

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

No.

You do need to find out, why the script tag is removed from your source code!
You have to make sure, that the script that instanciates the form is not removed.

I think the script tag is removed because of a setting in your Joomla! installation or an extension which you use.
The mentions script tag is absolutely necessary for Visforms to work.

Aicha
