Hi
After an Upgrade from visform to 5.1.2 the submit Button is disabled.
<input class="btn btn-default" id="field24" aria-label="Anmeldung senden" value="Anmeldung senden" disabled="disabled" name="form1anmeldung-senden" type="submit">
Where does this disabled="disabled" come from.

Thanks a lot...

Hello Bdion,

the disabled submit button is described in the FAQs of the documentation.
Submit button is disabled:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/e...-button-not-working/

Quote:
Since it is so important that the JavaScript works, we have decided to initially display the submit button in the form in the deactivated state.
We then dynamically switch this deactivated status to activated with the help of JavaScript.
So if you have a JavaScript error on the page, the button will remain disabled.
There is a well-defined place where you can easily see that the JavaScript on the page is not working correctly.

The procedure described is not new in Visforms version 5.1.2.
It exists from the beginning.

Kind regards, Ingmar

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).
