Nice component. Generally well done.

However, the submit button is not visible on our white background template. It only becomes visible on our CSS button class when the mouse cursor moves over it.

Where can I fix it? If it is in one of the visform css files, which one and what is the class name?

Thanks

Thank you,

in order to fit into the look and feel of your template, Visforms comes with week css selecors, so that usually the css of your template is used. As far as I remember, there is no css rule for the submit button in the visforms css.

As there are different form layouts available in Visforms, which have different html structure, I cannot tell you exactly which selector you can use to style the submit button in your form but I wrote an article in the documentation ( www.vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/vi...form-layout-with-css ) where I explained, how you can find out.

In addition, it is possible to add a custom class attribute to the field (in field configuration tab advanced) which you could use in your css.

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

 Ich empfehle Dir die neue und aktuelle Dokumentation für Joomla 4:

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
Bitte immer nur 1 Frage pro Thema stellen :-).

I gave up previously because I just was not able to do anything to get the button to be visible. No editing of CSS classes or applying classes worked. So I gave up a couple of months ago.

I'm now back trying to use what is otherwise an excellent extension. This time there is a darker btemplate and I see the button is not visible again. I now realise it is transparent!!??

I have tried different templates, the result is always the same. The buttons on the form including the captions are transparent. None of my efforts of trying to apply a different class have worked, so I am clearly doing something wrong.

What is the fix?

Thanks

Nevermind. Tripped, went arse over tit and my nose hit the solution.

"Advanced" > "CSS Class For Field" does not work with my main template classes other than for hover.

However, I found applying btn-save from visforms.css sort of worked. It's not the prettiest but it will do.

Thanks
