Grey Squares show on forms in articles + template in article question

New to Visform and have simple question - I hope.

The forms have problems when I place them in articles:

1. They display 2 grey squares at the top of the form and a grey square at the bottom of the form.

2. They do not use the template settings - is there a way to use the template settings?

You can see the form on an article at: www.lemonadeteambuilding.com/index.php/t...ing/radio-promo-team

Please note: The forms looks good when I place on pages handled by my template.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks.

Hi,

where do the tabs come from? Is this a Joomla! article or is the article created with some other extension or framework?

What do you mean, when you write "they do not use the template settings"?

I think the problem is, that somehow there are some HTML code tags ("<code>") inside the tabs and although inside the HTML that is produced exclusively by Visforms. These code tags do not come from Visforms itself . So I can only conclude, that these code tags are inserted by someone else (i.e. another content plugin or the tool which you use to create this specific page). As their is css in you bootstrap css that adds paddings and color to the code tags, you can see them as gray squares.

Aicha

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply.

The tabs are a plugin - but they are not causing the grey squares. Here is a link to a simple article using my website template with a visform - without any tabs.

www.lemonadeteambuilding.com/index.php/test4

The only content in the test4 article is the visform code as follows:
{vfformview}{"formid":"1","urlparams":{"activity":"Radio Promo Team"},"show_page_heading":"false"}{/vfformview}

Re: What do you mean, when you write "they do not use the template settings"?

The visform formats properly when inserted on a page created using my site's default template. However when inserted in an article it looks completely different. eg. instead of showing the grey text (of my template), the visform has red text.

See same form inserted as module on a page at: www.lemonadeteambuilding.com/index.php/contact-us (Visform in articles do not look like this - but I would like them to.)

Any ideas?

Hi,

Could you please check the following. Open the edit view of that article in the administration of your website. Toogle the editor, so that you can see the HTML Source code. Can you, by any chance, find these "code" tags in the HTML source code? If you have copied the plugin string from the documentation of our website, it is possible, that you have inadvertantyl copied the code tags, which are used in the documentation.

The differences in the layouts between the two links are only caused by these code tags, becauseyour css has a complete set of custom rules for elements which are inside a code tags. As soon as we have found out, where the code tags come from and have removed them, everything will look fine.

Regards,
Aicha

Yep - the code tags were copied into my HTML. Once removed, it all looks good.

Thank you for responding so quickly and finding the solution.
