Can not change Type of Field

Dear Team,

I couldn't find a solution for this problem and it exists on all my websites:
I can not change Type of Field from text to anything else. It worked before. My forms are old and I do always updates. I have now Visforms 3.10.3 with PRO subscription.

What could cause this problem? Maybe the update and old forms? PHP version?

I actually have never heard of that problem before, so it is quite strange, if you encounter it on all your websites.

Visforms updates are designed to take care of any changes between the versions and make sure, that the component continues to work properly.

Do you get any message?
What exactly happens, if you try to change the field type?
Can you change the field type, if it is not text?

When did you run the last Visforms update?
What ist the Subscription Package version?

I thought this is a common problem. Could be this a JS problem? I use Admin Countdown on backend of Joomla: www.isapp.it/en/admin-countdown/download.html

For me it looks like if I choose an option for Type, when I edit a field then there is nothing happening. After I save the field item then the belionging options are showing up. As I see now there is no problem with the field types except "Select". When I choose "Select" option and I want to save, it says: "Field must have at least one option." So it decline the save process but the field options are not showed yet so I can not set.

I did the last version upgrade in this month. My subscription package is: Visforms Subscription - Unlimited

it could be a javascript problem, but I'm not sure of this, because I thinks the behaviour would be a bit different then. I need to take a look at this.

Can you send me a screenshot of the field configuration which was made after you have changed the field type option to select and before you try to save the field? I need to see the complete window. (Or you can give me access to the field configuration, so that I can take a direct look.

thanks for the screenshot that shows, that something is not correct with the field configuration.
Thanks for the login.

I went to your website and when I tried to change the field type (in your test form) from date to select. Everything looks ok.

So I think the problem most probably is due to an old javascript file that is cached in your browser.
Hopefully, clearing the browser cache, will solve the problem.

Now it is clear, this is a JS conflict with Drop Editor's DropEditor plugin.
