Hi,
in Visforms you can choose, which separator/delimiter should be used for the export. As we live in Germany and many of our users are from here, the default setting for this option is, to use the semicolon as separator. But you can switch it to the comma. (Form Configuration -> Advanced -> Data Export (it is the last option in this list; Please make sure, that you are in the form configuration and not the global Visforms Configuration!).
If the selected separator/delimiter is part of the user input, Visforms should escape the delimiter by automatic action. So, if the separator option is set to semicolon, the semicolon in texts would be escaped, if it is set to comma, the comma will be escaped.
I think, the problem is, that you have not changed the separator to comma, so commas in texts are not escaped, but your excel assumes, that the separater would be the comma. I think, you can fix the problem by selecting the proper separator in the form configuration.
