Disable validation in frontend data edit

Hallo, how it is possible to disable a validation just in frontend data edit?
Alternatively, I would disable the validation in frontend data edit by a specific user or user group.
For example, I set up a mindate validation in frontend data submission, relative to current date.
So, if I want to edit a record submitted yesterday from the frontend, I cannot because the validation deny me to save the changes.
Thanks!

Hi,

sorry, it is not possible to disable the validation in frontend data edit.
I can understand your problem but at the moment there is no other solution for this than either you cannot use the validation or you have to change the field value, when you edit the data in frontend or you have to manually remove the validation from the field configuration as long as you edit data in frontend.

To add such a feature, especially user group specific, is actually a bit of work...

I could offer this as a payed development...

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

 Ich empfehle Dir die neue und aktuelle Dokumentation für Joomla 4:

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
Bitte immer nur 1 Frage pro Thema stellen :-).
