Hello deepgreyweb,
Many thanks for the further information and the call stack for the error situation.
I looked and tested this on Joomla 4.3.
I can not reproduce the error.
You are currently the only one who encounters a problem with Visforms after the update to J4.3 and reports it in the forum.
From the callstack you can see that the error ultimately occurs in a Joomla file:
Code:
JROOT/libraries/src/Editor/Editor.php:284
It occurs when trying to load an editor field in the form configuration.
This is Joomla code far outside of Visforms and is only 'triggered' by Visforms.
So this is definitely something special and will not be causally connected to Visforms.
It is possible, for example, that you have installed and activated a third-party editor, but it is not compatible with J4.3 and is causing the error.
The specific way you enabled/disabled other editor plugins could also be causing the issue.
Please check your settings and change them accordingly to find the source and fix the error.
If you cannot locate and fix the error on your own:
We would look at what is going wrong on your Joomla instance and visforms.
To do this, we need to debug the Visforms code.
The question is whether you could provide us with an Akeeba backup of the website.
We use the following platform for this:
