Unfortunately, there is currently no way to search directly for the record ID.

There is the following option, but I don't know if that is enough for you.
You can set this in the menu configuration
- all records are displayed and
- show the record ID in the list view and
- the order ID ascending or descending.

Then you can at least easily find the data record.

Setting 'all records displayed':
Menu configuration, tab 'Form Data Display Options', parameter 'Editable Record Sets Only' = 'No'.
If this option is set to 'No', then you will only see records that you are allowed to edit (form configuration, 'Form Permissions' tab).

'Show record ID in list view' setting:
Form configuration, tab 'Dataview in frontend, parameter 'Display ID'.

'Order ID' setting:
Menu configuration, tab 'Form Data Display Options', parameter 'Sort Data By Field' = 'ID'.

Setting 'ascending or descending':
Menu configuration, tab 'Form Data Display Options', parameter 'Sort Data By Field'.

We would like to implement your request/idea.
I have created an issue to develop the wish list:
Issue [VF-962] Forum: Search-Filter: Add option to search for any field value manually via search text (like 'ID:234')
