Joomla 6 Notice

Hi,
I installed version 5.1.2 of Visforms on joomla 5 and php 8
I wanted to know if it is possible to insert a new functionality regarding images.
I think it would be useful if there was the possibility of opening the photo (in the Frontend) in a popup when you click on the thumbnail, both in the list and in the detail.
I hope it will be possible to find this functionality in the next releases.

Hello Claudio,

a popup is a feature that has to be implemented differently for each UI framework.
As you probably know, we support several different large UI frameworks.

I therefore estimate that it will be quite complex and, in terms of detail, also thankless to implement.
But it would be doable and I think your suggestion makes sense for other users too.

I have created an issue for development in the wish list:
Issue [VF-1266] Forum: New Feature: Frontend: Open image in popup after clicking on thumbnail (list and detail)

When we release the new feature, you will be explicitly informed about the release here in the topic.

Unfortunately, I cannot promise, but also cannot rule out that it will be included in the next release for version 5.3.0.
