Joomla 5 Notice

Hi Giulia,

I'm not sure if I understand what exactly you want.

The new HTML5 input types (like "tel"), which are not supported by older browsers, are not part of Visforms yet and there is no validation for "phone numbers" in Visforms yet (which actually is very difficult because phone numbers vary widely between countries).

Usually you would create a form field of type text for a phone number, which you give the label "Phone" or "Phone Number" or something like that.

The next release of Visforms for Joomla! 3.x will offer you the option to use custom validation, which will then enable you to use regular expression. With this feature it will be possible to create a custom validation for phone numbers, but that is not part of Visforms yet.

I'd like add a field who the user put on the form in the subject of admin email.

For exemple, i have on the form "Course" field.
I'd like who in the mail for the admin user the subject is: "lorem ipsum - Course"

Hi Giulia,

ok, that is not possible with Visforms now.
But it is an interesting feature.
I'll put it on my to-do-list: Use input a user makes in a specific form field as the subject of the result mail.
But I think it will take me some time, until I can implement that.
