Right align labels was created by jasons
Does anyone know how I would be able to right align the labels so there closer to my text boxes? Right now there too far apart. Also, is there a way to place the requirement star to the left of the label instead of the right?

Any help or suggestions would be great!

Hi Jason,

every modern browser has built in developer tools, which allow you to find out, which css rule in which css file is used.

There is a class visCSSlabel which is styled in the visforms.css (media/com_visforms/css) in line 56, which I think you could use to get the alignment of the label, but whether this works or not depends on your template which may override the styles set by Visforms.

If you want to position the requirement star to the left of the label you have to create a template override of the respective default.php (component/com_visforms/views/visforms/tmpl or module/visforms/tmpl).
I already made an explanation on how to create such overrides in this forum. Please search for it.

Kind Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
