Unable to get Visform data to display on website

I have downloaded the Visforms component, and uploaded it to my joomla site.
It looksto be a great component, and seems to be straightforward.
I have set up a form called 'Beer Review Form'.
Inintially it had 16 fields.

I published:

The Form
And all of the fields
And set the the form to autopublish the data.
I can see the form data displayed in the back end.
I have published the form to appear in a Beer Review article - no problems at all
And I have set the menu item to Vsfoms > formdata and set the form correctly.

But I am completely unable to get the form data to display on the website front end?
I have completely uninstalled the Visforms component - then reinstalled it.
And gone through the whole setup process again - this time with just 4 basic text fields.
And still I cannot publish the form data in the front end.

The site is:
www.sussexpubguide.co.uk

My (cut down and basic) form is at:
sussexpubguide.co.uk/index.php/contribute/review-a-beer

My form data should be displaying at:
sussexpubguide.co.uk/index.php/contribut...beer-review-listings

All that I have is a blank html page - which I have examined in Firfox Developer Tools and can see that it is just a blank basic html page?

I know that I must be missing something that is blidingly obvious?
Can anyone shed any light on what I may have done wrongly?
Any comments / suggestions of what to try would be much appreciated!

Hi Rob,

at the moment I have no really idea what is going wrong, so we have to dig a bit deeper to hopefully get some more information.

Could you please turn SEF Urls off in System Configuration?

Can you enable "debug System" in System Configuration. Maybe we can get a helpful error message.

Regards,
Aicha

Aicha,
Hi!
Thanks for the very swift response.
I have turned of SEF Urls
And enabled system debug...
Would it help if I have you a backend temporary login - I am happy to do this - though you'd best send me an email to request that!

rob.pine@pineinternet.uk

I know it must be me doing something daft - and overlooking something that is blindingly obvious!

Kind regards,

Rob

Just to finish the thread.

It turned out, that there was a module mod_vertical_scroll_recent_article installed on the website, that caused a fatal error when it was enabled on pages that were linked to menu items which were not of type "content". We were able to get an error message after we set the "Error reporting" to "Developer" in the "Global Configuration", which gave us a lead on it.

Regards,
Aicha
