strange characters on received email

Hi,

this is what i get when I receive the emails from the form, only the first line, the rest of text is normal:

Eꥉ:,)n0y%fʦ1묪 ??ۍ}??Vwg?s ??hʦForm

Any idea?

that seems to be a problem with the character coding setting.
At the moment I have no further ideas about that.

Hi,

actually I'm not sure whether this problem is to be solved in the email client software or on the server or in Visforms.

Visforms set the character encoding for the mails to utf-8
There is no option to change the encoding.
The encoding is set in components/com_visforms/model/visforms.php in function sendReceiptMail() and function sendResultMail()
$mail->CharSet = "utf-8";

For the next release I will check, if there is a better encoding solution.
