fields not working at all

Hi,

Please advice or redirect me to correct topic as I couldn't find anything similar. I have done an update for Visforms and since that fields are not working at all. They are no visable at all.
I have tried to create a new form and new fields but this make no difference.

Is that something with overwrite? What should I do? What change? Is there anyway to make it work or should I restore backup?

just for the records, is is always very helpful for me to know the Visforms versions (before and after update).

One Visforms user had a similar problem once. (Looked exactly the same as on your page).

I investigated the problem then and it turned out, that for some unknown reason the folder (which was not present in earlier Visforms versions) had not been installed properly with the update.

So for me, a first step to solve the problem would be, that you check on your Joomla! installation if this folder is missing, too.
If this folder is missing on your server you can just copy it there manually (with ftp).
You have to do it manually, because on Visforms it is for different reasons not possible to run the same update twice.

You can find the layouts folder if you extract the installation zip (which you can download from in the download section on this website. Make sure to get the correct version). It is located directly inside the site folder. Copy this layout folder (from the installation) to components/com_visforms (on server).

Please let me know, if this solves the problem or if we have to dig deeper.

Thanks for your help the missing layouts folder was causing the problem as you said.
Problem sorted and visforms is working perfectly fine.
