the plugin language file can not be loaded

I tried to translate SpambotCheck into my native language. The language file for the component can work properly (this can prove that I do know how to translate Joomla extensions). But the language file for the plugin can not work, no matter I put it in the path /administrator/language/zh-CN or /plugins/user/spambotcheck/language/zh-CN .

I think there is something wrong with the plugin. Please check it and fix it.

actually the plugin comes itself with German and English language files and works fine with both languages. So I think, there is nothing wrong with the plugin itself. The plugin loads the language, using standard Joomla! code.

The plugin itself places the language files in /plugins/user/spambotcheck/language/de-De (for example).
Have you tried to enable language debug in global configuration. That would help you to see, which language files in which folder are tried to load and maybe there is just a tiny misspelling...
