The plugin prevent real users from login & registe

Hello all,
I have detected, that the plugin prevent real users, especially people I know, from login and registration. I have received 2 emails, with 2 different people that I know. They couldn't login in my site. One of them I have add to the IP white-list and he could then login easy. What about the real users and people, that I don't know??
I'm afraid that the plugin prevent other real and secure people from login or register.

What should I do ??
And Why the plugin prevent safe and real users (not spammers) from login ??

the plugin relies on external databases like, stopforumspam.com, spambusted.com, projecthoneypot.org and so on. Some of them like projecthoneypot.org only check for spammer IPs, other like stopforumspam.com allows you to check for spammer e-mails as well.

If the plugin prevents real users they are definitly on one of those list. One reason could be that they have a dynamic IP(as is very usuall in Germany) which was used by a spammer previously and is now listed. Once I found my IP on such a list too!

If a real user is prevented he's shown a message. You can change the message text, to make more clear how, such a user can contact you do get unblocked and make the text even more politely. You have to put those people on the whilelist. The message texts are in the plugins language file (administrator/language) for joomla 1.5 and 2.5, (plugins/user/spambotcheck/language) for joomla 3.0. The have the keys USER_LOGIN_SPAM_TXT and USER_REGISTRATION_SPAM_TXT

I would reccoment not to check for username. Set this parameter to no, if it isn't allready. It's not specific enough.
