Joomla 6 Mitteilung

Wir freuen uns mitteilen zu können, dass seit dem 14. Oktober 2025 alle unsere Joomla Erweiterungen mit Joomla 6 kompatible sind.

No email sent when using php7

This is more of an FYI. In testing php7.0.9, no emails are being sent. I am getting emails from joomla core and other components. Has visforms been vetted for php7?

Anyone else having issue with php7 and visform emails?

Hi,

thanks for the notification.

I know that some people use Visforms on php 7 because there was I compatibility issue with the spamprotection plugin which was reported here and which I fixed (Visforms 3.7.7and 3.8.3). I have not heard of problems with sending mails on php7 yet.

Maybe you could try to turn error reporting on (System configuration: Debug System: yes, Error reporting: Development). Maybe there is some helpful error message then.
