Hide Label for Textarea

Dear Aicha,

I use Visforms Version 3.7.7 on Joomla 3.6 and I would like to hide a Label but the Label Options dropdown not showing on Textarea field. It is visible on Text and E-mail fields.
Can you fix this please in future release?

I included this feature in Visforms 3.8.3.
Visforms 3.8 is the current beta Version. But I think you can savely use it.
It is a beta mostly, because I added lot's of new features and there will probably be updates more often than for the stable version. But from the perspective of functionality it runs quite stable.
You have to go to the downloads menu and find the download for Visforms 3.8.3 beta there and install is manually.

Hiding the label on textareas is only possible, if the option "HTML Editor" set to no.

Now i use Visforms Version 3.8.9. The Label Options dropdown not showing on Select field also.

Hi,

this is the intended behavior.
The label informs the user, what they should do with a field. If a field type has the option "hide label" and you set this option to yes, then the field label is displayed as a placeholder in the fields input element. So the user still knows what they are supposed to do. For Checkboxes, radios and selects. there is no way to display the filed label as a placeholder. That is, why there is no option "hide label" for these field types.

The first item of a select field can explain to users what they are to do, or if the form is included in a table like this:

Day Month Year
1 Select Select Select
2 Select Select Select
3 Select Select Select

labels on select field are not necessary for me.
