Supported PHP versions?

Hi

According to the feature description Visform works with PHP 5.6 .. 7.3 ( vi-solutions.de/en/subscribe/levels?layout=strappy ). However: PHP 7.3 will stop receiving security updates on Monday, 06 December 2021 - just 4 month from now.

I'm pretty sure you already tested with later versions...

yes, we do and we are aware of this fact.

As far as I know, actually there is one last code passage with php 8 incompatiblity in our code.
This will be fixed with the next release.

Thank you for this timely response! Great that there is version of VisForms running under PHP 8 for Joomla! 3 and Joomla! 4

At the moment we are running some critical forms on our Joomla 3 website - so I follow the principle 'never touch a running system'.

But this phase will be over by the end of october and I will then as a first measure switch to PHP 8 at the beginning of november, later we will make the transition to Joomla 4 in more relaxed way.

I've run Visforms on a local test server with php 8 for the whole time of the development for Joomla 4.
I've tested lot's of feature.
So hopefully I found and corrected all critical code sections.
But in a critical moment I would not change the php version either.
