PHPSQLParser.php error when creating new fields?

Hello,

I'm running Visforms 4.2.0 on joomla 4 (php 8.0), but I'm experiencing a error when trying to create fields. If I create a text area or a password field, everything is okay and working after I click save.

But, if I create any other field (number, text++) I get this error below when saving. Help is much appreciated

Does the affected file exist on your server?
'/home/glaamgsr/demo1.glaame.no/libraries/visolutions/php_sql_parser/PHPSQLParser.php'

If this file is missing, then it is due to an incomplete installation.
That sometimes happens.
Just run the installation one more time.
This often helps in these cases.

If that doesn't help:
A slightly more detailed PHP bug report would be very helpful to us.
To get a verbose PHP error report, enable maximum debugging in the Joomla administration before reproducing the error:

Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'System', parameter 'Debug System' = 'Yes'
Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'Server', parameter 'Error Reporting' = 'Maximum'

A last resort is an Akeeba backup.
The question is whether you could provide us with an Akeeba backup of the website.

This probably sounds stupid, but I did try to reinstall a couple of times without any luck before creating the post. But, I tried again now - and then the folder was created correctly.

Hi Daniel,

I'm assuming that significantly more time has passed between the multiple attempts at installation (in immediate succession) and your last successful attempt.
Then the server environment would be different for the last successful installation - for example more free resources, less hard disk load or fewer accesses or whatever.

So if it doesn't work right away, then
- quite possibly the second time and
- very likely the following day.

So if it didn't work out after the second time, then
- not probably directly a 3rd or 4th time
- very likely the following day.

In these cases, the Visforms code of the installation could only output a corresponding message to the user.
Because the actual copying processes are carried out by the Joomla core code or the PHP function.
But that would be an improvement.
