Location field

Hi, I'm using Visforms subscription and I would like to add a location field. The user would have to click on the map and the coordinates should go to the database. Is this possible? I can't get it to work...

Hi,
Indeed i forgot the Google Maps Key...
Now the form 'tries' to display the map but an error message is shown telling me to check the Javascript console.
I enabled debugging in the system and now the error does not appear but no map either.

It started working after some time, maybe there's a delay in the validation of the google maps key?

I expect that the 'Location/Map' type field will also work without errors for you.
There are no known similar issues.

Activating PHP debugging in Joomla doesn't really help you with JavaScript problems.
First of all, this is about possible JavaScript errors.
You have to pursue these first.

Maybe you have a JavaScript error on the page.
You can find out by opening the console in the web browser's developer tools.
All errors and warnings since the page was loaded are listed there.

In the web browser of your choice, go to the website you want to examine and open the developer tools:
- In Firefox in the menu under: Extras -> Web Developer -> Show/Hide Tool.
- In Google Chrome in the menu under: more tools -> developer tools.
- In Internet Explorer in the menu under: Developer tools (F12 key).
