Yet another e-mail problem with gmail

I have made a simple form:
hematology.dk/index.php/dhs/indmeldelse

I have setup the form to be stored in the database and the data e-mailed to me and our secretary (who handles the form data).
However, neither me nor my secretary recieved the e-mails. We both have gmails. When I add another (non-Gmail) address, the problem is not present.

Visform has no problems sending "recipient" e-mails to gmail addresses.
I have no problems sending in other joomla applications. I have setup my Joomla 2.5 to SMTP and it works with SPF validation for my domain.

thanks for the clear and compact informations.

I'm sorry to hear that you have troubles sending result mails to gmail accounts. What I wrote in the documentation (and I think your have read this part carefully) is, what I gathered from forum posts (from Visforms users) and my own research.

Visforms creates the recipient mail and the result mail with identical code, therefore actually I cannot understand, why gmail accepts some mails (recipient) and others not (result).

Have you set a value for the "Mail From Name" parameter in the form? I double-checked the code, and the use of this parameter in the result mail is a bit inconsequential. I don't really expect this to be the source of the problem, but at least you could try.

Maybe there is a way to configure the gmail account to accept the mails??

What other applications sending mail do you use?
