SpamBootCheck mess was created by aklisiewicz
Your component messed up my Community Builder extensions. After installing it I cannot use CB login form as right after submiting it popsu 404Error
I tried to disable it or uninstall it but no success. When I shitch to standard Joomla Login it works (but then I loose all registration benefits from CB registration form).

any idea how can I fix this ?

I'm sad for your trouble with my extensions. I have to admit, that I do not use CB and that I have never tested the plugin with this third party extension.
I shall make a remark to that issue on JED Download-Page.

I tested both, uninstall and disable, extensivly and they work fine with Joomla 1.5.x (including many third party extensions). Without further information about your Joomla configuration
I cannot decide, where your problems originate from.

When you install the plugin the following things happens.
It adds a recordset in the jos_plugins table of your database (name = User - SpambotCheck).
It adds the plugin-files spambotcheck.php and spambotcheck.xml and the plugin-folder SpambotCheck in plugins/user in the filesystem of your joomla-installation.
It adds the language-files en-GB.plg_user_spambotcheck.ini to the folder administrator\language\en-GB and (de-DE.plg_user_spambotcheck.ini in administrator\language\de-DE in case you have german language installed). In case you enabled the plugin-parameter "Log Spambot to DB", there will be a table jos_rk_spambot_attempts in your database. This table will only be created, if there have already been any spambot attacks. That's all. Are these files, folders, tables and the recordset in place on your system?

Plugin hooks into the onBeforeStoreUser event and the on LoginUser event. Maybe there are incompatibilities with CB plugins hooking into the same events.

If you want to get rid of the plugin. Delete these files and the recordset in jos_plugins.
