Joomla 6 Notice

Hi,

whether and how the mail function works on localhost (Xampp) depends on your settings. On my local host the mails are stored at .txt files in the folder mailoutput directly in the root of the Xampp installation. But testing the mails on localhost is not a good way. If you really want to test the mails please do it on a webserver with a mailer properly set up.
