Joomla 6 Notice

We are pleased to announce that all our Joomla extensions have been compatible with Joomla 6 since October 14th, 2025.

Hi

I would like insert a filed between two other field.

If I understodd correctly, all fileds are display by "ID in forms" by I don't find any solution for insert a new field between id forms 4 and id form 5.

Could you help me ?

Fields are not displayed by id but by field order.
You change the field order any time.
Only if you have not changed the field order yet, order and id-order are simply the same.

Ordering fields works just like ordering Joomla! articles (for example). Use the field order column in the fields list view in the administration (first column in this view).

If you are familiar with Joomla! administration this should be quite easy to see and obvious, because it is just Joomla! standard and nothing special with Visforms.
