spam protection - can't submit the form

i've disabled all the spam protection/check in the spam protection tab of com_visforms_configuration but still get error message sometimes

'the form submit failed. the form has not been sent because you have been flagged as a spammer by a match of your details to out spambot database'

anything else to check?

If you have set the form option "Use Plugin Spambotcheck" to "No", this should disable the use of the spambotcheck plugin completely for this form. The message should never show up for this forms then.

this is absolutely weird. Never heard of something like that before. Conisidering the great amount of Visforms users, I think something different than Visforms is partly responsible for your problem, but I will recheck the Visforms code, once.

It is the Visforms Plugin Spambotcheck, that does the checking. So maybe you could disable this plugin.
Have you any other Visforms forms on your webite? Make sure, that the "Use Plugin Spambotcheck" Option is set to No there, too.

i don't think that setting is for particular form but it's global config for the plug in

The setting is for the individual form.
But the code that validates is located in the Visforms Plugin Sapmbotcheck.
The plugin hooks into the code that is executed after the submit button is clicked.
Usually it should only be triggered to hook into the process, if the form options are set to yes.
But if this does not work as expected, then you could try do disable the plugin.
If you disable the plugin, you make sure, that it can never do anything.
If you still get those messages, after you have disabled the plugin it is for sure, that there is some sort of other problem with your website, because the messages then do not come from the Visforms code which is currently executed but must come from somewhere else and be due for example to your server configuration...
