Display calculation field after input all fields

Hi,
I have two fields of Date type. "From date" and " To date". and another field that calculates number of days between these to fields. when I enter a date for "From date" field, "Number of days" filed immediately displays -18198. after I enter date for " to date" it displays correct calculation.
I need to hide this wrong calculation (-18198) and force "Number of days" field to display result after both of dates are entered.
Let me ask you help to solve it.
Thanks.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but the calculation is always done instantanliously.
As soon as the value of any field, which is used in the calculation, is changed, the value of the field of type calculataion is recalculated.
There is no way to prevent this.

So the only possibility I can see is, that you set a default value for the date from and the date to field which is a number of days in the future relative to the current date. Maybe you can find "good" default values, so that the calculation looks good.

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
Bitte immer nur 1 Frage pro Thema stellen :-).
