Joomla 6 Notice

Table classes can be added using viewclass.  Is there a way to add a table ID?
The ID would be used to apply JQuery DataTables to the table. If there is a way to do that without the ID, please let me know.

Hi Michelle,
jQuery Datatable just needs a good selector, in order to apply the data table.

Basically each instance of the content plugin data view has a wrapper, which already has it's own ID.
You can find it, if you take a look at the html source code of the site.
So it is already possible to access the table.

Further on you can add a custom class to the datatable itself.
Use the parameter "viewclass" and start your choosen class name with a blank.
