Hallo Visforms-Support,

ich habe eine Bestelliste und möchte mit Hilfe der Visforms Suche Daten im Frontend filtern.
In "Form data with edit link".

Die Spalte ist die Bestellnummer und sieht zum Beispiel so aus:

Bestellnummer
3UH0002301
2RO0002302
2RO0002302
Bestellnummer ist Type "text". Jede Nummer ist einzigartig.

Ich möchte alle Datensätze, die mit "2" anfangen filtern.
Also in etwa Suche: 2*
Aber der Platzhalter * oder wildcard geht nicht!?
Es wird nichts gefunden, da "2*" nicht vorhanden ist.

Wenn ich Suche:2 eingebe, werden alle gefunden, da in 3UH0002301 auch eine "2" enthalten ist.
Kann ich wildcards bei Visforms verwenden?

Hallo, ja das geht. Nutze den Unterstrich "_" für ein einzelnes Zeichen, das Prozentzeichen "%" für eine beliebige Anzahl Zeichen.
Also:
2% findet alles, was mit 2 beginnt
__.12.____ findet in einem deutschen Datumsfeld alles aus "Dezember"
_H% findet alles mit "H" an der zweiten Stelle

Ist das Joomla?

Nächste Hürde: Leider sucht Visforms in allen Textfeldern.
Kann ich das auf dieses Textfeld "Bestellnummer" beschränken? Oder andere Textfelder bei der Suche ausschließen?

Hallo dietersteinmetz,

nein, leider ist es aktuell nicht möglich das Suchen nach dem Suchstring nur auf bestimmte Felder zu begrenzen.

Aktuell wird immer in allen Feldern gesucht, für die
- Datenanzeige im Frontend aktiviert ist (egal ob in Liste, In Detail oder in beidem)
- Für die der aktuelle Benutzer die Berechtigung hat die Daten zu sehen (Reiter "Berechtigungen" in der Feldkonfiguration)
- Die aufgrund Ihres Feldtyps nicht als Suchfilter dargestellt werden (also neben dem Typ Text auch Textarea, Zahl...)

Ich kann deine Anforderung nachvollziehen und finde das ein interessantes neues Feature.
Ich habe dazu einen Issue zur Entwicklung für die Wunschliste angelegt:

Wenn wir das neue Feature releasen, werden Sie explizit über das Release hier im Thema informiert.
