Update of visforms on joomla 5.2.4

Hi Geert,

is it possible, that the update site for the Visforms Base Package is disabled on your website?
You can check via System >> Update Sites
There is an entry for

'vfbase' => vi-solutions.de/updates/visforms/extension_vfbase.xml

which should be enabled.

If the update site is disabled, the Update Manager would not look for updates of the Visforms Base Package.
And available updates for the Visforms Base Package would not be displayed in the list.
Only the Visforms Subscription Package update would be displayed.

This could explain, why you get this 'cannot update the Visforms Subscription' error.

When Visforms Base and Visforms Subscriptions are installed for the first time, we set the update site and the update sites are enabled.
So if the update site for the Visforms Base Package ist now disabled, this has happened afterwards.

I think, it is possible, that Joomla disables update sites automatically, if the link does not work.

As long as the update sites cannot be reached properly, it is probably the best, if you update the Visforms Base Package and the Visforms Subscription Package manually.
As mentioned by Ingmar in the previous post.

When the update sites can be reached properly again, then check, that all Visforms update sites are enabled in the Joomla configuraton.

I downloaded the 'base' visforms and installed, after that the update of the subscription went OK.
