Fields stretch the page in Joomla Backed

Hello..

I have this problem that makes all the fields in the Joomla admin backend show all fields. This requires me to scroll left or right to see all the filed info.

What i want: Is there a way to not show some filed in the backend ? so that i dont need to zoom in and out or the age stretch. In the case, means that i can see all field when i click to edit a submitted data in backend.

As it is now, if i have 100 fields for example, it stretch too much and its not nice like that. I have seen in some forms, where in the back end some specific fields are shown, but when you click as Admin to edit the data submitted, you can see all fields.

How do i make this happen?

Thank you in advance.

Hello akshehu,

Re: Backend.

In the data view in the backend, all data is always visible in the data list.
There is no detail view for the data view in the backend.
If you have many fields in the form, you will have to scroll in the backend.

Re: Frontend.

The frontend is the area where you can configure everything regarding the data views.
In particular, you can display only a few overview fields that are important to you in the data list.

There is a detail view for the data view in the frontend.
In the detail view, you can then always see and edit all data.

The differences between the backend and frontend are intentional and intended.

Best regards, Ingmar

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

 Ich empfehle Dir die neue und aktuelle Dokumentation für Joomla 4:

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
Bitte immer nur 1 Frage pro Thema stellen :-).

Hi..

Thanks for the reply.

Well, i get you now based on your statement "The differences between the backend and frontend are intentional and intended."

It will be better to always do edits and whatever from the front end instead of backend. But it can also be applicable as a choice for the beck end too. Maybe for future consideration.

Thank you once again.
