We are pleased to announce that as of January 29, 2024, all of our Joomla extensions are compatible with Joomla 5.

Custom Text wird bei Feld Signatur/Unterschrift doppelt angezeigt was created by ejbm
Hallo vi-Team,

wenn ich 
  • ein Feld vom Typ Signatur anlege
  • einen Custom Text im Tab "Advanced" eingebe
  • die Position des Custom Texts auf "über Label" oder "über Input" einstelle
dann wird der Text doppelt angezeigt -> siehe Screenshot. Bei den anderen Custom-Text-Positionen tritt das nicht auf.

Visforms Version 5.4.1, Subscription Version 5.4.1
Joomla 5.3.1
PHP Version 8.3.22

Hallo ejbm,

vielen Dank für den Screenshot und die Versions-Informationen.

Da ist ein kleiner Bug in Visforms und wir werden ihn beheben.
Ich habe dazu einen Issue zur Entwicklung in der Bug-Liste angelegt:
Issue [VF-1508] Forum: Custom Text displayed twice in Signature Field

Wenn wir den Bug-Fix releasen, wirst du explizit über das Release hier im Thema informiert.
Eventuell gibt es für diesen Bug sehr kurzfristig auch einen Datei-basierten Hot-Fix.

Hallo ejbm,

Es gibt einen Hot-Fix zur Behebung des Fehlers für:
Joomla 5 und die aktuelle Visforms Version 5.

Bitte die alten Dateien zuvor sichern, falls es unerwartet zu Problemen kommen sollte.

Die folgenden Dateien herunterladen:
- vi-solutions.de/forum-bugfixes/control.php_5.4.2.txt
Die heruntergeladenen Dateien umbenennen in
- control.php
Mit den heruntergeladenen und umbenannten Dateien die folgenden Dateien auf dem Server überschreiben:
- components/com_visforms/layouts/visforms/bt5/signature/control.php

der Fehler ist behoben im neusten Release vom 19.08.2025 für Joomla 5:
Visforms 5.5.0

Visforms Subscription 5.5.0
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/u...5/sub-version-5-5-x/  

Wir verwenden für Visforms-Updates Canary-Releases.
Hierbei wird einer zunehmend großen Gruppe in Schritten die aktuelle Version zugänglich gemacht.
Es kann daher gut sein, dass ein aktuelles Release noch nicht für deinen Joomla-Update-Manager zur Verfügung steht.

Es stehen aber weiterhin alle aktuellen Updates zusätzlich bereits auf unserer Webseite als Download zur Verfügung.
Damit kannst du jederzeit manuell auf die aktuellste Version updaten, auch wenn du offiziell noch nicht an der Reihe sein solltest.
