Fields Button Not Showing

New istallation vsiforms 3.5.7

Created new form and saved it. I go back and choose the form created and EDIT.

When I choose FIELDS I get no button tot add form.

I do have a layout folder in the component files for this extension.

What am I doing wrong? Tanks//

Hi,

i'm not quite sure if I understand you correctly but I think you are talking about the administration of Visforms.
When you navigate to the fields view as you describe it is not necessary to add the form.
All fields which you create using the "New" button in this view are always attached to the form you came from (when you clicked the "Fields" button).

I never get the NEW button and cannot add a field.

I create new form, save it and then open it again and choose EDIT and then FIELDS - then I expect to see NEW button to add field, but instead no button that allows me to add a field.

Hi,

the new Button is green and you can see on the screenshot, that it is there. (In the button line over the search tools and the Visforms Submenu, besides the publish, unpublish checkin, delete, edit, batch, forms and back to form buttons).

Thanks, it just was not what I imagined. On on my way now to creating a new form.
