Joomla 5 Notice

Dear Aicha,

It's been a while...but here's a problem.
I upgraded to:
Joomla 3.5.1
Visforms 3.6.11

After sending the form the following page appears:
joopvangoozen.nl/index.php/contact?task=visforms.send&id=1
Invalid address
This also happens when I fill in a redirect URL
The messages are sent correctly.

Do you know what the cause could be?
Let me know if you need access to the backend.

Hi Irene,

please make sure that you have entered a valid email address in the form option "Mail From Address" for the result and the receipt Mail.
Obviously it was not necessary to fill this option with previous Jooomla! Versions but on Joomla! 3.5.1 this is requiered.
Please let me know, if this fixes your problem.

Yes it does fix the problem!
Very grateful for your help!

Wouldn't it be better though to make it a required field :) ?

Hi Irene,

I considered that, for the last days, too.

With older Joomla! Versions it was not necessary to fill this option. And if you have set the "send mail" to "no" and the field is required, the validation will always force you to enter an email even if you do not want to send mail.

But I will try to figure a solution, because I think that you are correct.
