Hi. Unusual problem, I have visforms set up on a joomla 2.5 site and all seemed to be working perfectly.

Until I found that if a user fills in the estimate form and uses a gmail email address then the form doesnt get sent.

I have tried changing the destination of the email to no effect. It is only when gmail adresses are used that it doesnt work

Please help

Hi,

as Joomla! 2.5 is no longer support by Joomla! itself so is Visforms.

Basically the problem most probably arises because the mails are blocked as spam at some point on their way between the mail creation by the mailer of your website and the mail client that receives the mail.

I have made many changes to Visforms, in order to mimimize the problem of mails being blocked as spam, between the latest Visforms Version for Joomla! 2.5 and the current Visforms Version and if you use an email address which contains your domain as mail from address, sending mails now works fine.

I'm sorry but I cannot list all those changes here.
