Hi,

well yes the image do help a bit, but still this is very strange.

You wrote

if in a form is activated the function "edit data in frontend"

but actually there is no such option in the form configuration itself. So I was wondering where you found this option and set it. Can you send me a screenshot of this, where I can see clearly where you found this option?

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 4.
