Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

Ok I'll contact you privately.

A little problem:
if in a form is activated the function "edit data in frontend" when I save the data by pressing the "Submit" button, I don't receive the message: "form sent correctly", but I see a page that contains the data that I have provided. It's hard to explain the problem for me in English, I hope you understand what is the bug

Hi,

when you are in the edit data in front end view, the button is called "Save changes" not submit. When you press this button and everything goes well (modified data are saved successfully) you are redirected to the data list (or the data detail) view. I think this is, what happens on your website. This is the intended behavior. Whether you are redirected to the list view or the detail view depends on from which view you opened the data edit. You are always redirected to the view where you came from.

But you should see a message, "Changes successfully saved". This message is passed from Visforms to the Joomla! system message container. If you do not see this message this might be, because your template has not implemented the Joomla! system message container (there should always be a jdoc include type="message" in the index.php of any template!).

Regards,
Aicha

Unfortunately, like many Italians I do not know English well...I'm the world's biggest tool!!!
The problem is in the index page of the form (When the user fills in the fields for the first time) , not in the edit data in frontend page, but only if in the form is active the "edit data in frontend" function...
I hope I explained it well...I'd love you to be italian....

Hi,

I can understand your wish very well. For me it is easier to explain things in German, too.

I is late now and I'm very tired. Would it be possible for you to send me a link to the form (mail it to contact@vi-solutions.de if you like). It would be very helpful for me, if I could take a look at the form (and maybe make a test submission). I hope this is possible. I think you are still testing and not really productive?

How have you published the form (module or menu item of type Visforms)?

I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Regards and good evening,
Aicha

Yes i'm still testing but it is necessary to be logged to view the form, maybe we can try in this way:

I fill the fields:

Then i press "Save", this is the result:

But this is a little bug because data are correctly saved. it isn't important.
