Please help,

When I want to do the Export data, I get a mistake:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function iconv() in /home/kpa/public_html/cms/administrator/components/com_visforms/models/visdatas.php on line 310

Line of code: $unicode_str_for_Excel = iconv("UTF-8", "windows-1250//TRANSLIT", $row->$prop);

Can you tell me what I should do?

Visforms Version 3.10.4
Joomla 3.8.7
PHP Version 5.6.35
MySQL Version 5.6.39

Hi,
This is very strange, because this error has never been reported in the past and now two times in the last few weeks.
The error is due to a missing PHP module on your server.
I have fixed it with Visforms 3.11.2 release candidate which you can get from the download menu on our website.
Alternatively you can set the export option Use Windows-1250 character set to no. This should fix the problem too.

Aicha

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I tried the option Windows-1250 character set to no... earlier
however, still the same problem. :-/

I also checked php extensions and iconv is installed.

P.s Visforms 3.11.2 release candidate fix this problem. :-)

Best regards,
Milan

Hi Milan,

thanks a lot for your reply!

Although I do not understand, why setting the option to "no" does not fix the problem and how it is possible that you run into the problem in the first place, if the php extions in available (I will take a look into this), it is good to know, that the bugfix, which I added in Visforms 3.11.2 does work.

Kind Regards,
Aicha
